Apple gave a sneak peek of the iPhone OS 3.0 today, and announced the availability of the beta version to developers. Apple says the release will bring over 100 new features to the iPhone, finally including cut and paste! (More...)

I'll admit I've listened to Music for Airports more than a few times. I'll also admit I believe it's wonderful music. Like any art different from the art you're used to, receptivity is the key to fully understanding what Brian Eno is doing in that collection of music, and other similarly-ambient releases in his catalog. The same can be said of Bloom, the iPhone app Eno has made in conjunction with musician and software designer Peter Chilvers. (More...)
News - 10,000 to 20,000 Apps in 73 days

On Valentine's day the Apple iTunes store passed the mark of 20,000 available Apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch. With the store hitting 10,000 available apps on December 3rd 2008, it has taken 73 days to double this number - an average of nearly 137 new (More...)
